Starting Point
Your next step if you’re new to The Crossing is Starting Point. Starting Point will help you discover who we are, what we believe, and how you can get connected. This 70 minute class is offered the first Sunday of each month during the 10AM service. Childcare is provided in our Children’s Ministry. If you’d like to attend the next class on September 7th, sign up at the Information Table in the lobby or contact Sue Blount at 947.2080 or sblount@thecrossingonline.com.
Homeless Outreach Ministry
Join us the third Saturday of each month as we minister to the homeless through music, food and, most importantly, the Word of God. Our next community service will be on Saturday, September 20th from 9:00AM - 3:00PM. You can come for an hour or stay for the day, serving the homeless community and showing God’s Love. Recovery:
The Crossing 12 is a fellowship of men, women and teens who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others recover from alcoholism. We meet Tuesday at 7:00PM in the upstairs Conference Room. For more information, please call the church office at 947-2080 or the Community Care Line at 853-0044.

Godly Girlfriend Dinner Out

Godly Girlfriends Scrapbooking Night
Bring your scrap-booking supplies and/or the current project you’re working on and a snack to share. Join us on Friday September 12th from 5:30PM to 9:30PM for our next fun night of scrap-booking. We’ll meet in Room 105 (downstairs in the Administrative/Children’s building).

Men's Retreat 2008

Student Ministries:
The Deep End...
The Deep End is a completely intense Sunday Morning Bible Study for 6th - 12th grade students. This hour long study provides an opportunity for students to dive deeper into God's word. The best part: There's no sign up necessary, just show up at 10:00 AM with your Bible and be ready to get after it. This group meets weekly in the conference room located upstairs in the main office building.
New series in Student Ministry... Questions?
This 3 week series will challenge students to ask the tough questions about their faith, relationships and God. During this series students will be encouraged to ask questions during the Sunday morning service. They will also have the option of texting or emailing their questions to smquestion@gmail.com. This is a great series for students to invite their friends who have questions about Church, faith and God.
Student Ministry House Church
Here at The Crossing, we believe that life change happens in small groups. We offer the opportunity for small group involvement through our House Church Ministry. We strongly encourage our students to get involved in a House Church where students meet together weekly. Every Wednesday, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM, in Houses across the valley, students come together as a large group to hang out, study God's word and share life. For the small group discussion time, students are divided by gender. There will be a House Church kick-off event on Wednesday, September 10th from 6:30 - 8:30PM for all students, 6th - 12th grade, in the Activity Center. This event is a time to re-connect or get connected to a House for the first time. To sign up for House Church stop by the Welcome table in the Activity Center or go to our Student Ministry website to submit an online registration.
Parent Gathering... September 14th

Student Ministry would like to invite all 6th – 12th grade parents to attend a luncheon on Sunday, September 14th.
This short investment of your time will equip you with knowledge of what’s ahead for the Fall season in Student Ministry at The Crossing.
Also, in an effort to keep you equipped and informed, there will be a panel of guest that will talk through some of the tough issues our teens face.
