BIG ADVENTURE TEAM OPPORTUNITIES

We are always looking for people to join us in Big Adventure. Below are a few of the opportunities that await you. Teachers - are responsible for presenting the main teach or lesson every week. They have received their lessons in advance and arrive prepared to teach. Teachers make a weekly commitment to serve.

Activity Partners - engage and entertain the children in structured free play and assist the teacher. They are responsible for serving snacks as well as diapering and restroom assistance (as needed). Their main role is to engage and interact with children. Activity Partners have made a minimum commitment to serve twice a month.

Sub-Team - substitutes for team members who are sick or out of town, our sub team is made up of individuals who cannot serve in a consistent or ongoing way. They serve on an as needed basis when their schedule permits.

Special Buddies - serve children who have special needs and can use some individual attention. We will pair you with a special needs child and you will assist them during class by worshipping with them, playing in activity stations with them and serving them in whatever ways they need. This special team member has made a commitment to serve a specific service hour and is notified when their assistance is needed.

Parent Volunteers - parent involvement and participation is always welcomed and encouraged in our Big Adventure program. If you are a parent and can't make a weekly commitment due to schedule demands, sign up to serve as a parent volunteer. Every six weeks you will be contacted to serve in the classroom of your choice where you will help our leaders make the hour you serve the best hour of every child's week. In addition to that, you will receive valuable tools to help you bring Jesus into your home for your family.

Arts & Cratfs - each week a team of parents and volunteers get together and assemble, cut, paste and prepare crafts for our weekend service. You don't have to be crafty to be a part of this team, all we need are willing hearts. This opportunity is perfect for those who have available time during weekdays.

X-Treme Adventure
